Norrmalm

• Starbucks at Hamngatan 33
  
• Starbucks at Norrlandsgatan 13
  
• Vetekatten at Kungsgatan 55
  Big and famous for high quality pastries. Not really cozy grandma style, but old style.
• Café Caldo at At Scandic Hotel, Vasagatan
  It’s nice and new, but small and simple. I wouldn’t go out of my way to hang here but if I’m close sure.
• Gretas at PUB, Hötorget 13-15
  New but with very cool 20s design, big but feels a bit snobby.
• NK Art Bakery at Regeringsgatan 47
  Pretty new, sleek and modern. They have a lot to choose from, but not really any particular focus. They also have proper meals, even raw and vegan options.
• Il caffè at Drottninggatan 85
  Right by the border to Vasastan. Big place with decent coffee and fika. Good place to chat or sit with a laptop.

• Oolong Teahouse Hötorget at Sveavägen 20
  Down in the subway. It's a bubble tea place. That is, aimed at Asian teens. A few seats but I usually have it to go.
• Oolong Teahouse Gallering at Regeringsgatan 29
  Located on the outside of Gallerian. Their second location, bigger this time, but same thing. Worth a visit if you've never had bubble tea.
• Machi Machi at Hötorgshallen
  The 4th and latest bubble tea place. There's a couple of chairs, but is really meant as to-go. Skeptical to another place offering the same thing but it's a good location and has tasty bubble tea.

Östermalm

  Authentic 20s cafe. Fancy grandma style. Small but very nice.
• Fosch at Löjtnantsgatan 8
  A neighbourhood cafe, medium sized and very high quality. Bright and pleasant.
• Foam at Karlavägen 75
  Trendy place with nice modern interior. But half the seats are uncomfortable and the menu isn’t anything special.
• Gamla orangeriet at Veit Wittrocksväg 7
  If you wanna get out of town this is a nice place. Located in what used to be a greenhouse with simple furnishing. Very cozy all year round but not a hell of a lot on the menu.
• Svenskt Tenn Tesalong at Strandvägen 5
  Different. At top of this coast store is an old style small western tea room. Have a few teas but I think the ladies that request prefer the champagne. They have a few cakes too. For socialising not reading or working.
• MR CAKE at Rådmansgatan 12
  Mostly known for pastries, but have a decent selection coffee drinks and alike. Big and stylish with lots of seats inside and outside.

Södermalm

• Starbucks at Götgatan 40
  
• Fern & Fika (formerly Sthlm Raw) at Långholmsgatan 1
  Best vegan cakes ever. Decent vegan food. Small and nice.
• Herman's at Fjällgatan 23B
  Known more as a restaurant but you can grab fika there too. Amazing, but expensive, vegan and vegetarian food. Big, decent interior, but boasts of an amazing view of Stockholm.
• My Vegina at Söderhallarna, Medborgarplatsen 3
  Ridiculous name but has decent vegetarian food and fika.
• Gunnarsons Specialkonditori at Götgatan 92
  60s cafe. Big, with a lot to choose from, both to enjoy there or take home.
• Naturbageriet Sattva at Stora Nygatan 6
  Simple and small and frankly not much to offer. Not a bakery, just a cafe.
• Chokladkoppen at Stortorget 18
  Small spot in the middle of Gamla Stan. Very gay cafe, but cozy.
• Café String at Nytorgsgatan 38
  The Wuhan flu killed it. It was a place a short walk from Medborgarplatsen. Peculiar style where no furniture matches. A ragged (but clean) place.
• Café Dox at Stora Nygatan 31
  Used to be called Cafe Mineur. It's a big, cozy place in a Gamla Stan basement. None of the furniture matches.
• Drop Coffee at Wollmar Yxkullsgatan 10
  If you're a coffee-lover, this is the place to go. They roast their own and have won awards. Interior is alright and medium sized.
• Grillska huset at Stortorget 3
  Not good coffee. They have a good selection of food and cakes and drinks. Pretty cozy, traditional interior. Not really recommended.
• Vurma at Bergsunds strand 31
  Great food. Pretty cozy. Defiantly coming back if I'm in the area.
• Magnus Johansson Bageri & Konditori at Lugnets Allé 7
  I'ts not quite central but it's worth the trip. It's very nice, in a great neighbourhood and really good pastries.

Vasastan

• Konditori Ritorno at Odengatan 80
  Really cool place, like a big 30s living room.
• Café Pascal at Norrtullsgatan 4
  Trendy place with good atmosphere, good food and fantastic coffee.
• My Vegina at Norrtullsgatan 21
  Rediculous name but has decent vegeterian food and fika.
• Mahalo at Odengatan 26
  Nice, modern yet cozy. All vegan. Very tasty pastries. A bit of a walk from any subway tho. The taco salad is good and healthy meal.
• Mellqvist Cafe & Bar at Rörstrandsgatan 4
  Very nice and cozy interior. Has received several awards. Great coffee, sandwiches and pastries.
• Blique at Gävlegatan 18
  It's a hotel, but you can have a coffee and there's plenty of space to sit in the lobby. Also has restaurant and rooftop bar.
• Cafe Koya at Gästrikegatan 3
  Cute, medium-sized, asian style café. Has coffee, matcha, bōbà, pastries and board games.
• Cha talk at Rådmansgatan 58
  Another bubble tea place. I think it's great fun to see these popping up, but I gotta say this is the cheapest-looking place. Not cozy at all, but they have decent bubble tea.

Djurgården

• Rosendals Trädgård at Rosendalsvägen 38
  It's a big plant shop with crafts store and a cafe with lots of outdoor space. Good for date but not for working, far away and no WiFi. Also, it’s hot everywhere during the summer.

Outside Stockholm

• Äppelfabriken at Viksundsvägen 60, Ekerö
  It’s a little adventure getting here. Summers you can sit outside with chickens or in the greenhouse. Winters are cozy too inside the cafe cabin.
• Karamellan at Drottningholms Slott Karamellan 10
  Their selling point is they’ve been in business over 100 years. But you can’t tell. It’s a tourist cafe. It’s clean and has a big outside space, but they don’t need to be all that great since they know people will come. Just a couple mediocre vegan options. Passable coffee.
