As I watch movies I've started reviewing them. So far the list isn't long, so it's by not means a definitive list. Until then it may still serve as recommendations.

 Moana (2016), children
 Tim’s Vermeer (2013), documentary
Really interesting and even exciting to see if he will succeed or not.
 Get out (2017), horror
I'm not used horror films but I liked this one. Very curious and suspenseful. Wrapped up nicely at the end too.
Rise of the planet of the apes (2011), science fiction
I’ve seen it at least 3 times. It’s simply an exiting story and I love science fiction.
The king of Staten Island (2020),
Great movie. Really manages to be both funny and dramatic. Really good at evoking emotion. Only downside is perhaps predictable plot.
 Meet the Fockers (2004),
It was good. Seen it at least 3 times. Worthy follow up. Great characters and acting by Dusty and Streisand.
 Hero (2002),
If you liked Crouching tiger hidden dragon you'll like this. Impossible marshal arts style but also very artistic.
 Call of the wild (2020),
It’s a kid’s movie so the plot or characters aren’t that feep. Entertaining and sweet.
 School ties (1992), drama
Enjoyable with good acting, despite slightly predictable.
 Bowfinger (1999), comedy
It’s not hilarious but it’s an all-around good comedy. It has that 90s style charm.
 Free Solo (2018), documentary
It was an alright documentary. What made it great was simply seeing Alex's feat.
Crouching tiger, hidden dragon (2000), wuxia
Very entertaining, different and hard to grasp Asian cultural references at times.
 Arrival (2016), sci-fi
Fantastic. A bit slow, but that's a description, not a criticism. Really ties it all together well at the end.
 Police story (1985), action
Delightful movie. Playful and funny and impressive stunts.
